Once Again, Time Flies!

Seriously, time flies. I feel like the exam was just over, but actually I've finished it almost 3 weeks ago! Well, it means that half of my semester break is over!

I've utilized my entire semester break to the max, and I simply love it! I just didn't notice that I've traveled to most of the states in Peninsular Malaysia in one month time (except Perlis and Terengganu). It was really enjoyable and I looking forward for more great food in Malaysia!!!

Excitedly took photo of APU Open Day banner in Kepong.
Johor Bahru Museum
Burger Burn at JB. Although expensive, it was so tasty! Gonna go back again next time :)
Nasi Kelabu at Kelantan
Went up to Gyro Tower (a.k.a. Menara Taming Sari) in Malacca. The scenery from there was awesome!
I realized that Malaysia is really such a lovely country after been to different states in Malaysia. I love my country and I wish to see a better Malaysia in the future! Although I am not eligible to vote in the 13th General Election on 5th May yet, I hope that everyone could think wisely before giving out your vote. Your vote is able to make a change to this country, to this nation, to the next generation. As a Malaysian, I am ready to give a chance to have a change in our homeland, what about you? ;-)

Busy? Busy!

Just submitted 1 important assignment of the year -- Research Methods which contributes 100% to the result. At first, I thought I've done it well. But then when I think back on what I've done, I actually did not do it that well and could have done even better. I am kind of regret why I submitted it early instead of like others who look around for people's work and work till last minute. Well, I guess coz it's just not my style. Since I can't change anything more, so whatever it's done, just let it so.

Life isn't just about good grades afterall, it's about how much, and what you've gained in your life. This is what I've learned in my university life and I am really appreciating it. :)

Well, it's time to do the remaining 2 assignments. I couldn't believe that 1 semester is passing so fast. In another 2 weeks time, it will be the buffer week and at the end of the month, will be the starting of exam. Let's flash back on what I've done for this semester. Look, I've got 4 assignments submitted, 2 presentations, 4 tests. 2 more submission and there comes to the end of study life of Level 2. Not bad huh?

Soon, Level 3 will be starting. I guess busy life will just never stop? But I just love it! :)

Time flies and it's seventh day of Chinese New Year, which is so-called the human's birthday. So, if you are human, allow me to wish you, happy birthday! :)

If anyone of you see me, please don't ask for angpau, because I am not married. But I am generous enough to give you mandarin orange. xD
Thanks to the binding shop boss for giving few boxes of mandarin oranges to admin office =) (Photo adapted from: Alison  http://peaceofmyeye.blogspot.com/)
Let's adjust a little bit of the mood and continue with assignment. At the same time, do not forget about APU Chinese Cultural Week.

APU TVC is released!!

APU video shooting which was taken in December 2012 is now released and available in Youtube!
Too bad couldn't see my face in the video, but it's ok, coz it was a great experience as I've never involve in any of such events before! xD

There are 2 versions available, English and Malay. My comment to the video: The song is truly very nice and it shows the professional image of our university. Proud to be an APUian. :)

Gifts of Hope

It's just like blink of an eye, 2012 has ended. 2012 was a fruitful year as I really learned a lot. Before 2012 has ended, I was so glad that I managed to be one of the event volunteers for World Vision in Bangsar Shopping Centre. In case you do not aware on World Vision, please refer to the link: http://www.worldvision.com.my/v1/. :-)

The event that I helped on was Gifts of Hope. I like this programme's concept, which is "give a life-changing gift in the name of someone special". We are actually the lucky one who can get everything we need and most of the thing we want in our life. But, do you know there are many poor kids out there who might not have enough food to eat, and do not have the resources to get education like us? And yes, here is the way you can help them.

First, pick a gift you like for your loved one. Then, World Vision will send a gift card to you loved one, telling him/her that you've bought a special gift in his/her honour. Lastly, this gift that you've chosen will be delivered to the children and families in need. One gift can change a life. Let's see how your little help can bring impact to their lives. :)

If you are interested, please visit http://www.worldvision.com.my/goh/economic-development.html to view full catalogue. :)

It was a great experience working with them. And yes, this world is still full of love, hope and joy. :)

JB Facon Education Fair (15-16 Dec 2012)

Although I had been helping in some education fairs and Open Day for quite some time, I was so excited as it was the first time I had the chance to be outstation at Johor Bahru! :) Let's view some of the photos that I have taken in JB. :)

First night in Senai @ Le Grandeur Palm Resort Johor

Nice environment in the resort
The X'mas tree in the resort & it looks really nice :)
Look closer & you will notice that they using recycled bottle to make it.
P/S: Jason & Cheng Mun, maybe we can have this idea too during next round of Environmental Week. XD

First Day of Exhibition @ Persada Johor International Convention Centre.  :)
Second night in JB @ Austin Paradise Hotel. :)

Another collection of my Exhibitor Tag. woohooo :D

This was the first time that I counseled so many school leavers, especially those who are interested in Accounting, Finance, Banking and Actuarial Studies. Although there were no registration in JB, we actually got quite many enquries and some of them were really interested to come for our Open Day next year. Hope to see them soon in APU Open Day! :)

Even though I talked until sore throat, it was a really good experience and I enjoyed it very much! :) If anyone wants to know more about APU courses on Accounting, Finance and Quantitative Studies, you can find me and I will explain until you understand. This is what a senior who has been studying Accounting and Finance specialism in Forex and Investments for 1.5 years can do. :D Anyhow, I wish all my juniors best in luck and enjoy yea! :)

A.P.U Commercial Shooting

Tuesday was a memorable day as it was my first experience to involve in such a shooting. At 6pm, I reached Auditorium 3 with friends, and we sat at the corner. So, I don't think our face or even our back will appear in the video. :(

We started to wait from 6pm and the shooting of this scene finished at 8.15pm. We chit-chat, sang songs, and enjoyed ourselves during the long wait. :-)

While waiting, I took the photo of our  main actress
The main actress is so pretty. Don't believe? Let me show another photo which I took from my friend's Facebook. xD

See? I really love her eyes. :-)

As I was involved in the last scene at Cafeteria, so after dinner, we had to stay and finished up the last scene. It was another relax & free time. I guess the director want to have natural feeling, so it's really freestyle. :-) At the end, we finished at about 10.15pm.

It was an enjoyable night, however, I stayed until night with a heavy flu, but yet I don't know if my face will be in the outcome of the production or not. :( Anyhow, it was a really good experience, and this experience will only happen once in my lifetime, so I am sure it's worthy. :D
